CNY Hols!!

Happy Chinese New Year people! I loved CNY's..besides having holidays, we get to eat , play, gamble, and gather with friends and relatives. Actually this year's chinese new year my parents are gonna be away from home, my father going to US till Wed, my mum leaving to Taiwan on Tues, so I thought its not so nice.

However, so far its quite nice. Starting from Friday, I came back from school, I didn't touch any of my homeworks...hehe. My aunt from Japan came back on Fri. She brought lotsa sourvenirs..seaweeds, japanese biscuits, chocolates and accessories. She's real talented. She's skillful in making art and crafts, making cakes and very concern about healthy living, so I followed her here and there to watch and learn.

In return, she asked me to teach her guitar. One year ago, my father taught her Romance d' amour, she went back and continued to learn guitar in Japan. Now she knew the basics, my father's not here, so I gotta teach. Like I say, I would never be a teacher, due to my lack of patience. The first day I taught her patiently, note by note. But this aunty practiced a lot, a few times a day. So when im doing my homework, or enjoying a movie, and she ask me for comments, I will just continue to sit there and point out the mistakes instead of demonstrate to her. She complained me for taking her not seriously......hehe..but no choice, Im a really busy person :)

On Saturday, Yu Xian invited me to Tmn Megah to play badminton :D Together with Hui Yi and Nat. Not bad, long time never excercise already. We started with YX vs her sis, and me vs Hui Yi and Nat. Due to my observation, Hui Yi's the lazy one, she will never run for the ball. Nat's weakness is she can't hit hard, or maybe its her racket's problem, some of the strings already snapped off. Anyway, so far I can handle them. YX and her sis is the pros. I played with her sis, first two times I failed. Soon I found out her technique, I can catch the shutter cock, but really tiring. She made me running here and there, sweat like hell. Yu Xian was quite good too, but not as strong as her sis. She's the one that uses her brain. Changing her strategy every single time.

Then, YX followed me back home. My uncle fetched me. My house was full of guest. YX got along smoothly with my relatives. She have a talk with one of my aunt. Okay, I shall skip the details. After everyone went back, YX and I made seaweed biscuits. And finished it...hehe.

On Sunday, we all woke up at 4.00am. My sis's plane arrives at 4 something. Damn sleeepy.. Later while everyone was preparing for new year eve, I slept, play, did whatever silly things. At night, many people came. One of the family didn't come..yerr..they went Johor. Anyway, after dinner, we played fireworks. My cousin's boyfriend bought two boxes of 'em and its damn loud and damn damn damn beautiful. Its hot and smokey, but everyone enjoyed. Then everyone reveal their 'awesome' voices through the mic of the karaoke.

Monday..its a very normal holiday, except after dinner, after watching the Taiwan drama'Hotshot', I asked my sis to play basketball with me. And everyone included my aunt and my mum tagged along. We formed two groups just like the drama, my mum and my aunt one group, my sis, my maid and I another. I tried to imitated every single thing I remember from the drama..muahahahaha..very fun. We planned to go everyday!

2012

Yay im back :D Hope its not too late to wish HAPPY NEW YEAR!! :D Zhen Xin asked me to write something on my blog, so here I am, writing "something".

Hmmm...im excited for Chinese New Year. Holidays, reunion, eat, play, angpaus etc. etc. Guess what, before new year my father's going to US, my sis going to Taiwan, and during Chinese New Year, my mum's going Taiwan. And me? sit at home. So sad. Haih nvm..i shall be the housekeeper then.

Like every other year, my mum and grandma is gonna make new year cookies! On Saturday I helped out making kuih kapeh. Damn tiring. Sit beside the hot BBQ tray, flipping the kuih kapeh. Usually we make peanut cookies, this time my mum created a new recipe for black sesame cookies :P Yummy! I shall bring some to school. Oh yes! Our school canteen have not much food left. No more unhealthy sotong, no more healthy fruits. Nothing nice. So Yu Xian created a system. We will share the food we bring, taking turns. Tomorrow is my turn to bring :)

2012...deadly year...SPM, guitar exams, piano exams, undang, driving exams, and of course the end of the world..haha :D Anyway, I still hope this year will be a great year, since its my last year in secondary school. So far so good, I can still catch up with my studies :D This year we have Pn. Heah as our addmath teacher. She's bad tempered, and gives lots of homeworks, but she teaches way better than our previous teacher so its okay. You know what? She guaranteed us that we can get A+for addmath. That is if we listen to her.

Because of the gang of boys in our class, we got chosen by scary teachers like Pn Shalawati and Encik Siva. Pn Shalawati's teaching us Sivik. My friend said Pn. Shalawati is scarier than The Hulk when she gets angry. Lol. But so far I only find she's very funny :D Our moral teacher is Encik Siva. He looks very scary. Even the lazy boys finish their homeworks on time. He's gonna choose 3 tutors, I wonder who are gonna be those unlucky ones :O

Today we have Chinese class too. Cik Cho asked us who had thrown our previous books into the Recycle bin. I raised my hands. But till now I still can't believe I was the only one that thrown the old books. Since when was our class so responsible?! Luckily teacher didn't scold me :D

No More Excessive Sugar!!

Today we have bad news. After knowing my grandma's condition, I thought of Zhen Xin's motto..Healthy Living..LOL.

My grandma went to take her report in the hospital. The doctor announced she have diabetes. From what I've known so far, diabetes is very dreadful. If its serious, injuries can't cure. A little cut on a finger may even take the whole arm away.

The thing is, diabetes cannot be treated. It can only be controlled. My mum said once you started taking pills for diabetes, then you'll be continue taking it. Till the end of your life. SCARy.

Therefore, I hope we can start to control the amount of sugar we take each day from now on. We must quit the super sweet syrups my grandma loves to cook, reduce eating chocolates, ice-creams, and sweet things.

Haih..people can change bad habits only when something bad happens. I have a good example. I started to either brush my teeth or gurgling after meals after a terrible visit to the dentist.

Genting!!

AHHhh..long time never go to Genting :D The last time I went I was too young to play any extreme rides..This time I went with my whole family, my cousin and his mum for three days two nights.

We departed very late, too bad we have to travel in the dark. As the fog grew thicker, it was harder to drive. Everyone were busy helping my dad to see the road :) It was already nine something when we checked in. Our dinner was steamboat, everyone did their part for dinner preparation. While waiting for the soup to boil, we ate delicious fried sausages. But the sausages finished in a blink of an eye. So everyone looked desperately with siliva's hanging xD Our appetite were incredible due to this cold weather. After everyone's done, my cousin and I became the maid that washed plates using the icy cold water. Since we have nothing to do then, we played charades. In chinese version. Not bad. My cousin was like a clown there.

2nd Day:

We woke up quite early, ate breakfast and went to theme park!!

We bought all parks ticket. Very expensive, it was RM66 per person.. My sister was asking for an exciting ride, whereas my cousin was asking for a relaxing ride. I was flexible, but we didn't take any map, so we walked randomly.

We decided our first ride is pirate ship, as a warm up since its not very scary. Our next ride was spinner. It seemed scarier than it really was. But when we were actually playing it, it was really awesome! It was like watching scenery while flying..whee :D After that we persuaded our cousin to ride Cork Screw. I actually thought it would be scary. But because of its speed and turns, my head was threw here and there, I can't even see a thing. I hoped for a longer trip..cuz it ended in less than 2 minutes =.= Maybe the 180 degree turning made me dizzy..I went to the nearest stall to buy the super expensive ice-cream from the baskin robin's stall...

My cousin suggested we go indoors...so we went to Motion masters. I remembered last time I went in this place..the short film was showing the ice sliding and the chair moved violently...it was kinda interesting..so we queued up patiently.. THe queue was really long. It was longest-waiting-activity for that day. Too bad, I don't really like the film. The chair didn't move a lot.. Not exciting at all. We approached a food court right after motion master. All three of us ordered pork rice. RM15..Oh so expensive! We then wondered around the shopping mall, trying to recognize the place. We rode the indoor roller coaster--Euro Express with a full stomach. Not very scary but entertaining :D There was not much to visit in indoors so we went back to outdoors.

We saw Flyting Coasters. My sister pulled me to ride with her. My cousin didn't dare to, but he's kinda useful. He helped to carry our stuffs which saved our money renting lockers :D Our following ride goes to the Sungai Rejang flume ride!! THe queue was slow. 3 person per boat was maximum. Sunway have a similar ride. It was just a tube going up..then suddenly rush down and Splash! We got our bodies wet. In order to dry up our bodies, we thought of a good idea. We went to the spinner again. I really loved it. Its too nicee!!

My cousin met his friend on the way. His friend wanted to play the fun kart. It was something like the racing car. But I can't fulfill the height they need. Haih..who cares..its not like it was very fun. In the end we separated. My sis and I went to ride the ride my cousin wouldn't dare to--spaceshot!! It seemed very scary. Almost as tall as our hotel. But it was really fun. I screamed all the way down. I wanted to scream again but the strong wind made me swallowed it...I can't make a single sound.. I wonder this is the felling of committing suicide...

We went to the place we're gonna gather with my cousin. He's not there yet..means either still queuing or still playing. To save time, we went to play another game :) My sister went to queue at the Cork Screw for a second round..I went to buy us some food. I went to find delicious food. I ordered double cheese and onion savoury paratha for RM7.50. Expensive but really tasty. While waiting for our turn, the fog became thicker and thicker. I was like a blind man. Suddenly, it started to rain heavily. All the rides were paused. I feel so...frustrated..after so much queuing ended up nothing.

We received a call from my father and ran indoors. Our shoes got totally wet. Luckily finding my cousin was not very hard. The adults were shopping like crazy..carrying lotsa shopping bags. My mother and my aunt were walking around, looking at clothes. My legs were almost sore, so I didn't join them. Meanwhile, my father was showing off. He told me shopping was torturing. After going to toilet, he lost his way and went to the casino. And won some money. My grandma, who cared so much about money, was so happy :)

We ate an expensive dinner (everything is expensive in Genting) and went back. After raining, the whole place was so cold. A little suffering but quite nice too :) We took turns bathing. Bathing in warm water was like in heavens (so comfortable) in Highlands. We slept early after a tiring day.

Day 3:

Time to pack. Today was really cold. Unfortunately, I have no more long pants. The jeans I wore made my legs freeze.. What made worse was my mum kept dragging us to take pictures in front of the hotel. We visited Mushroom farm. I can't remember anything, it regressed according to my parents. Our next stop was the temple. My parents said they made great improvements. My grandma was like our tour guides there. She told us about the registration for dead. So is the legends of 八仙、七仙女、十八羅漢、十八層地獄....You know what? I think I will go to hell. When I read the information board, I think everyone will go to hell. Doing really bad things will go to hell..I have no comment. But making little mistakes will go there too..such as spitting, simply throw rubbish, making parents worried, polluting water, killing living things. Many good things must be done to repay sin....

Finally, we left Genting. I slept......till Kepong. Lunch time. It was very delicious. And way cheaper than Genting food.

End of Trip.

YE last gathering :'(

Yu Xian arranged the last gathering for 2011 YE. After spending so much time and hard work for this company, we finally get our profit! And we used part of it here. They called this the YE graduation 2011.

At 12.00pm, we were meeting at 1U KFC. While waiting for others, of course we played camera wars :D Everyone almost reached but we still can't eat cuz Miss Winnie (the money holder) was not there yet.. Yu Xian made a call and said she was lost, her location was at Redbox. So I accompanied her to find Miss Winnie. We didn't think much, just went straight to the karaoke near GSC. We didn't see any Redbox. Just Neway. Oops. Wrong place.

So Yu Xian said why not we claim the reserved tickets first, since we're so near to GSC. So she went to claim and I went to find the directory for RedBox's location. Obviously I can't find anything cuz 1U doesn't have Redbox >:(

So I went to find Yu Xian. She said she needed the reservation code or something, which she forgotten. And we received a call frm teacher, saying she reached KFC already....WTH..we came here for nothing!! Halfway going back, Yu Xian said she found the reservation code. So we went to claim again. But we will have to pay after getting the tickets, and the money is with teacher...So we went back again. We reached KFC, took the money frm teacher, and went all the way up to GSC AGAIN. Luckily my tough legs can stand these running exercise. :P

Finally, we can eat a delicious and free meal in KFC, which gained back all the calories we just lose. Just before movie starts, our cute teacher wants to take pictures with the angels..

AHHAHAHAHA..miss winnie says the angels here were all LaLa.

THe next activity was watching movie. There were 15 of us. 6 in the middle, 6 at the side, 3 in front(quite close to the screen). Anyway..Puss In Boots was nice :D It was something about Puss stealing magic beans and golden eggs with Humpty Dumpty and Kitty softpaws. And saved the world from the mother goose. I love the kitty eyes OO. So cute!

The last activity we did was bowling. My bowling skills were damn bad!! I was like..the worst there. Even my first time playing bowling was not as bad as this..zzzzzzzz

Look! THey were good. THe boys even better. Highest 80 something.......

Oil Painting

My first masterpiece!

Everybody said my sis drew nicer..but who cares? This is my first time lahh...

My sister learnt so many years of oil painting. This year her teacher held a holiday class, and she invited me to join :D Since I was so free, I decided to try. Two weeks, every Monday and Wednesday. So altogether four days.

The good thing about oil painting is that making mistakes is ok xD

After the old layer is dried, the mistakes are changeable.

Oh..and I didn't know I will see so many friends there. Koo Jia Yi, Sheen Woei, Yin Shan..Anyway they're all pros..Im the only Beginner :(

Tell you what, I will probably hang this upstairs, as its not that presentable. But this is a great experience for me..at least I did something for this hols :D

Berta Rojas

Classical Guitar Society invited Berta Rojas's to perform in a concert. I went there with my sis, my cousin and my aunt. It is our guitar teacher who strongly introduced us. Not cheap..RM65. Anyway, she played very well. You will enjoy if you like classical music. Most well known people are men..I've not seen many woman play so well. Hmmm...I shall make her as my idol :D She's a American classical guitarist. She's known as the "Ambassador of the classical guitar". Very famous she is, even Toyota invited her for their advertisement. She plays many Agustin Barrios's songs. She has a album call the "Intimate Barrios". Agustin Barrios was another famous man, a composer in Paraguay. My told me a lot about Berta Rojas and Agustin Barrios, but thats all I remember. xD
